Ken Giami is an African entrepreneur, and media owner. A leading voice for Africa’s economic appeal, Ken is Founder and CEO of African Leadership (UK) Limited – an emerging leader in promoting African Excellence, achievement and opportunities globally; and publishers of the influential African Leadership magazine and Africa Energy & Infrastructure magazine. He is Chairman of ALG Strategy Group – a multi-sector, Africa focused investment and consultancy firm, headquartered in Abuja but with operations across Africa, and interests in Publishing & Marketing communications, Energy, Real Estate, Hospitality, Investment Advisory and Development consulting.

Giami holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, a Master’s degree from the Business School of York St John University, York United Kingdom, and a Doctorate degree in Communication Arts (Honoris Causa) from Abbey College, London Graduate School / Commonwealth University.

In March 2013, Mr. Giami and the African Leadership magazine were commended for roles in promoting trade relations between Africa and the US State of Georgia by its Senate. In 2014, US Governor Martin O’Malley of Maryland signed a special Governor’s Citation honoring him for promoting US-Africa trade relations. He was also conferred in 2015 with an Honorary citizenship of the State of Georgia. In May 2018, Ken Giami was honoured at the National Press Club in Washington DC by the Multicultural Media Correspondents Awards as the International Journalist of the Year 2018, alongside Cathy Hughes of Urban One Inc., and US Senator Dean Heller of Nevada. He has been featured in the Washington post, Atlanta Business Chronicle and other international publications for bridging trade gaps between Africa and the rest of the world.
